Mayoff Day 2000
Please join us at the 2000 celebration of this unique holiday on Saturday, the 27th of May.  This year we've left no stone unturned, no grain of sand uncounted, as we've scoured near and far to bring together a group of friends that will entertain, amuse, enthrall, captivate and fascinate.  There will be plenty to drink and to munch, and your presence will make the event complete.  We're pleased that, through friends and family, the holiday is now known in Argentina, Belgium, Canada, Colombia, Denmark, El Salvador, England, France, Israel, Germany, Netherlands, Russia, Sweden, Uganda and across the U.S.  The recently created ancient legend recalling the remarkable role that Mayoffs played in the cultures of the Western Hemisphere, as well as pictures and sound from previous years, is available at www.mayoff.com to help you get in the mood.  Just click on the Texas flag.

Many of our friends have found that sharing water promotes friendship and conversation.  As the evening unfolds, after mingling with new friends and old, we invite you to join us in the spa and pool.  Last year, for the first time ever, every single person got wet -- well, maybe it was because of the rain.  This year we forecast dry skies and warm water.  If you haven't gotten in hot water with us before, try it and see what we mean.  You'll be surprised at who already has.  Besides, it's closer to the drink machine.  Bring a towel if you can, or borrow one from us on the spur of the moment.  Suits, of course, are optional.

We hope that you will join us.

The chestnut casts his flambeaux, and the flowers
Stream from the hawthorn on the wind away,
The doors clap to, the pane is blind with showers.
Pass me the can, lad; There's an end of May.
